Book Review: The Sun Is Also a Star

The Sun Is Also a StarThe Sun Is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I devoured this book in two sittings. The ‘what happens next’ factor is SO strong that I had no choice in the matter. I’m not going to tell you anything about the plot. Nope. Nothing. You need to experience each turn of a page with anticipation and no idea of what’s going to happen next. The storytelling is delicious agony!

The book isn’t new – it’s been around a few years, and yes, I know I’m late to the party. If you’re also fashionably late, ignore all other reviews and simply dive in. I will tell you the story is smart, cute, well-crafted, surprising, and chock-full of a variety of examples of the human condition.

If you have a heartbeat, you’re the right audience.
