Book Review: Shadow Catchers (A Max & Colby Adventure #6)

Shadow Catchers (A Max & Colby Adventure Book 6)Shadow Catchers by Janis Hennessey
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A charming little story where two friendly dogs help children understand what shadows are. One of the dogs is scared of his shadow, and the other dog helps him find ways to cope with his fears, and ultimately, understand and accept his shadow.

Children who have fears like this should benefit from this story. But it’s a good story for all kids, as it also teaches them how to play a fun children’s game, Shadow Chasers. The artwork is simple, soft and pleasant. The dogs are quite loveable. This could become your child’s next comfort book.
