Book Review: The Engineer Wore Venetian Red
The Engineer Wore Venetian Red: Mysterious Devices 4 by Shelley Adina
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
If you’re looking for a summer read, this is it! The 4th installment in the Mysterious Devices series is a doozy. Daisy and Freddie Linden are still looking for their missing father, this time in San Francisco de Asis. Had they arrived a week later, they would have missed an epic adventure, filled with royal plots, new friendships, family ties, simmering romance, a brave chicken, a nightmarish boat trip, and if that’s not enough, Mother Nature struts up to center stage, looks out at the readers and says, “Hold my tea.” Buckle up, you are in for a ride like no other.
