Book Review: Don’t Panic: Douglas Adams & The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy
Don’t Panic: Douglas Adams & The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Neil GaimanMy rating: 3 of 5 stars
I debated about even writing this review. While I will absolutely adore Douglas Adams for the rest of my life, I hesitate to praise a book by Neil Gaiman. However, the information in this book is excellent, in spite of my feelings about the presenter. For fans of the Hitchhiker radio series, there’s lots of trivia and extra detail on that version of one of the most beloved stories in Science Fiction history. I personally was indoctrinated into the story via the television series, and found plenty to satisfy my trivia-loving mind. I also learned a lot about Douglas Adams writing methods, and how many times he took procrastination to a high art form.
