What If? 10th Anniversary Edition: Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical QuestionsWhat If? 10th Anniversary Edition: Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions by Randall Munroe
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I told myself I’d read one question/answer a night, to let my brain have time to absorb what I knew would be fascinating yet very complex answers. But each question/answer was a deliciously rich piece of brain-candy, and I ended up binging… often. You might think you can’t read a mathematically dense book quickly, but guess what, you can! Everything is presented in a way that’s friendly to any brain, even mine. I’m terrible at math, but I *got* this stuff.

Some… okay many… of the hypothetical questions are hilarious, and more than a few are downright stupid. But Randall Munroe takes them on regardless, and presents the best possible answers. It’s all absolutely fascinating. You’ll accidentally learn a lot in the process. Highly recommend!
