Book Review: I See You’ve Called In Dead

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This excellent story feels like it’s got multiple personalities. It’s part Dave Barry-ish snark, part Douglas Adams style of twisting logistics into pretzel-situations, part deep introspective examination of the human condition, and a sprinkling of Virginia Woolf’s wanderings just to keep things interesting.
It would be cliche to say “I laughed, I cried, it became a part of me,” but guess what? It did. This is a very good book. Come for the comedy, stay for the examination of what it means to be a mortal human being.
